Your Title: Compliance Analyst

Your Location: Remote within the US

You Report To: Compliance Director

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00am 5:30pm EST

Compensation: $70,000+ plus bonus!

About the Opportunity:

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Support the Compliance Director in overseeing the Voluntary Protection Products Program, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Maintain an up-to-date database of Voluntary Protection Products, conducting thorough reviews of agreements to verify compliance with our company's minimum business requirements.

• Work closely with the Funding and Portfolio Service departments to efficiently manage the Voluntary Protection Products Program, aiming for excellence in program execution and compliance.

• Forge and nurture strategic relationships with service providers, regulators, and vendors to enhance our knowledge of the Voluntary Protection Products industry

• Develop and refine program policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are in line with current regulations and company objectives.

• Engage in comprehensive research and documentation of regulatory compliance requirements, particularly focusing on preparing the company for expansion into new markets.

• Conduct regular testing and audits of the Voluntary Protection Products Program to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to Voluntary Protection Products, staying informed about regulatory changes and industry trends to advise and guide the company effectively.

• Address inquiries and provide detailed responses regarding Voluntary Protection Products, including conducting research on regulatory issues or questions as needed.

• Execute additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Compliance Director, contributing to the overall success of the Compliance function.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, law, or related field

• Proven experience (5+ years) in Compliance, Legal, or a related field, preferably within the auto finance or insurance industries.

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to voluntary protection products (GAP, extended service contract, anti-theft protection, etc.) or similar financial products.

• Excellent written, organizational, and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal departments, external service providers, and regulatory bodies.

• Strong research skills and the capacity to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable policies and procedures.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
