Snap-Tite Hose, a leading manufacturer of firefighting, agricultural, and industrial hose is looking for a General Laborer to join our 2nd or 3rd shift teams at 6424 West Ridge Road in Fairview, PA. The hours for this position would be Monday thru Friday from 2:00pm through 10:00pm or Sunday through Thursday from 10:00pm to 6:00am. As a General Laborer, you will be working alongside our experienced team to assist in the production of our premium hose products which are trusted worldwide. Our commitment to engineering and manufacturing industry-leading quality hose has built an illustrious reputation for Snap-Tite Hose, and our team takes pride in being a part of that legacy.
This is an entry level position with a starting wage of $15.50 per hour and a $2.00/hr shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shifts.
No experience is required. We provide on the job training.
Responsibilities- Assist in the manufacturing of all types of hose products, including lay-flat jacketed and rubber fire hose, industrial large diameter hose, and agricultural and drag hose
- Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment in good condition
- Follow safety guidelines and help maintain a safe working environment
- Perform quality tests on finished products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards
- Other activities as designated by supervision
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to use gauges, tools, and read specs and charts
- Capability to operate machinery and follow instructions effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in reading work orders and completing paperwork
