Job Description

WWC Federal is seeking a Manpower Analyst to assist in areas of Manpower and MILCON (facilities) coordination, planning, analysis, and cost for a U.S. Navy client. The manpower analyst will be responsible for forecasting position and personnel requirements. The ideal candidate will be effective in building credible and trusted relationships with clients to determine their needs and deconflict information.

The Manpower Analyst will use existing government data and systems to analyze requirements and make cogent arguments and proposed courses of action (COAs) for an anticipated increase in manpower. May also serve as the organization's representative in meetings with external stakeholders. Analyst will collaborate with key personnel to build and report manpower in an effort to brief leadership on the current state of manpower resources.

This is a temporary position anticipated to end on or about 31 March 2024.

Contingent upon future contract award, this position may be converted to full-time status on or around 1 April 2024.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Travel:

  • 11-20% / Occasional travel. Ability to travel within the continental U.S. 2-3 times per year may be required.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
  • Ten (10) years’ experience related to conducting research, analyzing data and recommending solutions to large-scale issues. Particularly with relation to manpower and/or force optimization related problems.
  • Ten (10) years’ experience preparing data related to manning/personnel requirements in a government or civilian entity and organizing the results for presentation.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills for preparing detailed briefings.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables.
  • Proven ability to develop presentations and brief senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large sets of disparate data including personnel and/or financial information.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Working knowledge of the Activity Manpower Document (AMD).
  • Direct experience in Readiness Reporting Systems, Global Force Manag
