Job Description
Fort Thunder Harley-Davidson, a subsidiary of RumbleOn, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk! As part of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's payables and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. If you are experienced in accounts payable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position may be perfect for you!
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders and receiving records
- Ensure appropriate coding, approval, and documentation for all invoices
- Perform data entry of invoices into the accounting system
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve any invoice discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
