Job Description

Supports day-to-day remote technical aspects of product operational data to identify diagnostic issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware or software related. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.

Serve as aMacintosh(Mac) systems administrator and maintain responsibility for planning and implementingsoftware, hardware, network, and Web technologies associated with project operations. Accomplish troubleshooting, revisions, and updates to ensure maximum user satisfaction and system security and integrity. Manage the organization's network. Act as the team's primary Mac help desk contact for hardware,software, server, network, and database problems. Accomplish queries, extractions, and report programming to meet new functional requirements. Review and prioritize network needs and analyze project costs and feasibility. Develop network systems analysis standards and methodologies consistent with technical requirements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience supporting a desktop environment, includingtroubleshooting.
  • Experience configuring, managing, and maintaining network equipment.
  • Experience installing new desktop system hardware, Map Publisher, and other software tools/applications.
  • Experience with configuring and managing JAMF tool
  • Knowledge of Mac OSX, including multiple iterations and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of Apple integration in a Windows environment, including Mac computers and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration
  • Ability to follow and develop SOPs
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in the IT field

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Apple app development
  • Experience Windows
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Ability to be a self-starter and display excellent work ethic.
  • Possession of excellent client service, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Apple Certified System Administrator or Apple Certified Professional Certification
