As theDirector of Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. With at least five years of experience in hospital pharmacy, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, as well as optimizing pharmaceutical services to meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance pharmacy services
2. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
4. Manage pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
5. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy outcomes
6. Monitor drug utilization and implement cost-effective strategies
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs
8. Provide leadership in implementing new technologies and automation systems
9. Act as a liaison between pharmacy services and other departments within the hospital
10. Conduct regular reviews of policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure best practices are followed

Requirements:

1. Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (PharmD)
2. Licensed Pharmacist with at least five years of experience in hospital pharmacy management
3. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
4. In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and best practices
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving quality outcomes
8. Certification in Pharmacy Practice Management (CPPM) preferred but not required
