Core Responsibilities:

Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closure, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Advanced Educational and Professional Background: Possession of a Bachelor's degree, complemented by four or more years of substantial experience in sales, including direct experience with capital equipment, packaging materials, or other related goods within the bakery sector. An engineering degree or related technical education is highly advantageous.
  • Proven Sales and Industry Expertise: Demonstrable success in sales roles, with a strong understanding of both traditional and automated bakery production processes. A history of achieving sales targets in a competitive landscape is essential.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal and Analytical Skills: Outstanding communication abilities, including the capacity to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: A solid technical and mechanical aptitude, with a preference for candidates familiar with our client's bakery capital equipment. Experience with CRM tools and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Adaptability and Commitment: Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) to meet business needs. A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel are required.
  • Residence Proximity: Candidates must reside within a maximum one-hour commute of a major airport.
  • Other: A valid driver's license is necessary for this position. Additionally, the ability to obtain a passport for international travel is required.

This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities but does require the associate to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and occasional loud noise levels may occur.
