Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Advanced Educational and Professional Background: The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least four years of significant experience in sales. Direct experience with capital equipment, packaging materials, or other relevant goods in the bakery sector is preferred. Candidates with an engineering degree or related technical education will be given preference.
  • Proven Sales and Industry Expertise: Candidates must have a track record of success in sales roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of both traditional and automated bakery production processes. The ability to achieve sales targets in a competitive market is essential.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal and Analytical Skills: Excellent communication skills are required, including the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical skills are vital for interpreting market data and making informed decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Candidates should possess a solid technical and mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with our client's bakery capital equipment is preferred. Experience with CRM tools and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Adaptability and Commitment: The successful candidate must be willing to travel extensively, up to 80% of the time, to meet business needs. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel are required.
  • Residence Proximity: Candidates must reside within a maximum one-hour commute of a major airport.
  • Other: A valid driver's license is necessary for this position. Additionally, the ability to obtain a passport for international travel is required.

This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities but does require the associate to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and occasional loud noise levels may occur.
