The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our client's social media presence. From leading a team of Social Media Specialists to developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies, this role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in social media management, and a deep understanding of various social platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee and provide guidance, support, and training to a team of Social Media Specialists.
- Campaign Management: Ensure effective planning, execution, and optimization of social advertising campaigns across multiple platforms to achieve maximum performance and results.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of campaigns, compiling comprehensive reports with in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations for future initiatives.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a point of contact between management and content creators, facilitating clear communication and alignment with organizational goals.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with management to develop and implement social media strategies that enhance online presence, brand awareness, and sales.
- Content Management: Curate and create engaging content, including photos and videos, to actively engage our audience and drive meaningful interactions.
- Analytics Interpretation: Analyze site analytics, research target demographics, and define key performance indicators to measure success and guide decision-making.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated with emerging social media tools, platforms, and trends, exploring opportunities to incorporate them into business strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to coordinate projects and enhance the overall content marketing strategy.
- Brand Representation: Ensure consistency and authenticity in representing the brand across all social media channels, maintaining brand voice and identity.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve consumer issues, providing prompt and satisfactory customer service, and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments when necessary.
- Additional Duties: Carry out other assigned tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success and growth of our client.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Media Marketing, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field with equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a strong understanding of all social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Supervisory skills preferred, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of social media professionals.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for content creation and design.
- Strong attention to detail, self-driven with excellent planning and time-management skills.
- Understanding of organic and paid social media strategies, with the ability to implement and maintain them effectively.
- Basic photography skills.
- Submission of a basic portfolio showcasing social media and/or graphic design layouts is requested with the application.
