JOB SUMMARY:
The Engineering amp; Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for executing improvements related to capital project implementation and operational/reliability performance. This role is a key player in bringing growth and savings projects to fruition as well as driving continuous improvement in operations across the plant network.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as Project Manager/Engineer to scope, design, and execute site capital improvements
- Provide construction management support for capital projects
- Coordinate with site Operations and Maintenance leaders to develop, implement, and sustain RCM/TPM programs.This includes, but is not limited to implementation of CMMS, preventative maintenance, and spare parts programs.
- Lead the execution of continuous improvement efforts to support profit enhancement
- Assist site teams to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to solve operational issues and implement improvement projects
- Fill in for operations and maintenance roles as needed to ensure continued operation of the facilities in the network
- Perform other related duties as necessary
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High-school diploma required
- Four (4) year B.S. degree in Engineering desired, however; practical experience will be considered
- 5-10+ years of experience in Industry, preferably in a process-heavy, food manufacturing facility with high-speed liquid packaging
- Previous experience with leading or coordinating with the Maintenance department and knowledge of RCM/TPM
- Experience managing small to medium projects in the $100k to $1M range
- Familiarity with batch and continuous processing: filtration techniques, extraction, drying, and product packaging
- Experience with MS Office applications
- Administration experience with a CMMS
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This position should expect to spend a significant amount of time on the floor, with plant employees and processes
- Travel: as this position services the entire network, the role will require significant travel, in the range of 75%
