Job Description

AdvisaCare is a locally owned and operated home healthcare agency that provides quality care to patients throughout the state of Michigan, as well as Arizona and Nevada. We provide services for clients one on one in their homes as well as inside of Senior Living Communities.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to assist with the following tasks

  • Assist with Payroll
  • Answer amp; Triage Phone Calls
  • Filing
  • Data Entry
  • Assist with all aspects of administrative duties
  • Other duties as needed to support the Home Health care amp; Hospice departments

Requirements

Education:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience:

  • Minimum: One year of recent, relevant experience in an office or clinical setting and Microsoft Office/Word/Excel
  • Preferred: Home Healthcare but NOT required

Professional Skills:

  • Communication: Effective verbal and written skills, computer literate
  • Customer Service: Patient confidentiality, helpful, patience
  • Organizational: Detail oriented, highly organized, problem solving abilities, efficient
  • Team Skills: Demonstrate ability and willingness to work as an effective part of a team

Personal

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Excellent communication skills
