Head of Marketing Operations

EDH is looking for a Marketing Operations Leader to establish and scale this critical function. This highly visible and strategic function is responsible for building and managing the marketing stack and process design that helps us effectively scale our cross-channel campaign delivery for consumer activation and b2b demand generation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • (Leader) Lead, mentor and guide the marketing operations team including campaign design amp; delivery, digital amp; print delivery automation, reporting and project management
  • (Data) Manage key marketing data uploads, feeds and integrations, including understanding of purpose, accuracy, and integrity
  • (Strategy input) Work collaboratively with the marketing team to strategically build and execute marketing plans that deliver against organizational strategies
  • (Campaign delivery) Work across marketing, client and commercial teams to accurately build, validate, test and implement effective programs and campaigns
  • (Technical requirements/build) Collaborate with stakeholders to implement customer lifecycle journeys, campaign forms, landing pages, emails, and other technical integrations critical to the marketing engine and drive continuous improvement
  • (Technical requirements/build) Manage execution across a variety of channels, including digital, email, print, etc.
  • (Tool selection) Own the marketing technology stack including vendor selection, integrating them into existing systems and processes, and training the marketing team to use them
  • (Measure amp; adjust) Continually analyze marketing and member data, develop insights, refine campaigns and/or present recommendations on areas for improvement and optimization
  • (PM amp; process) Develop and oversee complex processes, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless execution

Requirements

  • 7+ years of working in a marketing operations role; 3 or more as the leader of the function.
  • Experience managing people with a track record of building high performing teams and developing teammates’ capabilities.
  • Deep knowledge and expertise across various marketing channels esp. email and print
  • Understanding of US healthcare compliance, including HIPAA, PHI and PII requirements.
  • Track record of implementing process design and tools to enable scale
  • History of successful cross-functional collaboration to get what’s needed from other teams while also delivering against their expectations and building bridges in the process.
