As the Unified Communications Solutions Consultant, you will be a key player in winning new business by educating our customers about the immense value of our communication and collaboration technology capabilities. From UCaaS and CCaaS to Colo and connectivity, you will guide our customers in understanding how our solutions can transform their organizations. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in presenting our expertise and track record as the lead during proposal development, collaborating closely with our Sales team. Your dedication to maintaining iT1's high standards will ensure the successful completion of all assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Engage in regular meetings with the sales team to identify and seize opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery calls with clients, showcasing iT1 solutions and services.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure a highly satisfactory experience.
  • Effectively communicate with key leaders, including C-level executives, to understand the customer's business needs.
  • Anticipate and recommend new solutions or communicate changes to existing services that will benefit the customer in meeting their business needs.
  • Suggest network hardware, software, and platform designs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts by updating opportunities and records in Salesforce.
  • Coordinate with vendors to provide communication solutions and products to iT1 clients.
  • Conduct trainings for iT1 sales members and engineers.
  • Work with key vendors and the VP of Strategic Solutions amp; Services to develop effective GTM strategies.

Job Qualification Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • You should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in a pre-sales/consultant role within the SaaS, Unified Communications, VoIP telephony, or other related technical industries.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in channel sales or distribution is necessary to establish relationships and develop strategies for business growth.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively dealing with various types of customers.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities are crucial to handle multiple tasks and customers simultaneously.
  • You should have the ability to build rapport and collaborate with colleagues both within the company and externally.
  • Experience in VOIP technology, including SIP, RTP, QoS, CoS, codecs, as well as familiarity with LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, switches, PBX deployment, TCP/IP, DNS, etc. is required.
  • Ablity to execute project deliverables with limited support.
  • A deep understanding of the industry in which the company operates is necessary. This includes knowledge of competitors, market trends, and regulatory compliance.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including employees, shareholders, and customers.
  • Experience in identifying and addressing clients' business requirements by providing appropriate technological solutions.

Physical Demands:

  • Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day
  • Keyboarding for 8 hours per day
  • Near Vision (working with small objects or reading small print)
  • Speaking (communicating information to clients/coworkers)
  • Hearing Requirements (In person speech, telephone, other sounds)
  • Occasional Travel

Job Location:

  • Local to Tempe, AZ preferred
  • Working hours: Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm AZ
