Phoenix Home Care is adding a Room and Board Specialist to our Springfield, Mo team!!

Things you should know: This candidate is responsible for quality services in a timely manner. The specialist must possess a great working attitude while exercising accountability and professionalism in a fast-paced atmosphere. This role reports to Revenue Cycle Management.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of payment regulations
  • Account for payments to patients in a timely manner
  • Submit facility invoices to Genuity
  • Abide by HIPAA regulations
  • Communicate well with peers and administration
  • Understanding of Medicaid Room and Board regulations
  • Ensure proper follow up using correspondence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in finance is preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team
  • Ability to Multitask and stay organized
  • Willing to take on new tasks
  • Operate standard office equipment
  • Basic bookkeeping skill
  • Maintain a professional courteous attitude
  • Experience with medical payer rules preferred
