Phoenix Home Care is adding a Room and Board Specialist to our Springfield, Mo team!!

Things you should know: This candidate is responsible for quality services in a timely manner. The specialist must possess a great working attitude while exercising accountability and professionalism in a fast-paced atmosphere. This role reports to Revenue Cycle Management.

Responsibilities
- Understanding of payment regulations
- Account for payments to patients in a timely manner
- Submit facility invoices to Genuity
- Abide by HIPAA regulations
- Communicate well with peers and administration
- Understanding of Medicaid Room and Board regulations
- Ensure proper follow up using correspondence
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in finance is preferred
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently as well as in team
- Ability to Multitask and stay organized
- Willing to take on new tasks
- Operate standard office equipment
- Basic bookkeeping skill
- Maintain a professional courteous attitude
- Experience with medical payer rules preferred
