As a School Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our school and ensuring a positive and nurturing learning environment for our students. You will work closely with the school's administrators, teachers, and staff to ensure administrative tasks are efficiently managed and executed. Your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success of the school.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the school's administrators, teachers, and staff.
- Manage student enrollment and maintain accurate records of student information.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and events.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate staff members.
- Create and maintain records and files.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock at all times.
- Collaborate with the school's administration to update and maintain student and staff handbooks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant qualifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sensitivity and understanding of the needs of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.
- Ability to pass background checks and clearance requirements (if applicable).
