JOB SUMMARY: The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the company's cost data to ensure accurate financial information and support decision-making processes. This role will involve working closely with the finance and operations teams to monitor and analyze cost trends, perform variance analysis, and provide recommendations for cost optimization. The Cost Accountant will also be involved in budgeting and forecasting activities and will contribute to the development and implementation of cost control measures and procedures.

- Monitor and analyze cost trends, including material, labor, and overhead costs
- Perform variance analysis and investigate reasons for cost deviations
- Prepare and present cost reports and recommendations to management
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop and implement cost control measures
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cost accounting or related role
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles and techniques
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
