EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR MARKETING INTERNSHIP AT BASIS PARTNERS!
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
As a Marketing Associate (Intern) you will be supporting our business development, employer branding, and communication strategies (existing and emerging).
As you apply your marketing/communications education and experience in a very practical and significant way, you will also gain valuable insight into the Civil Engineering Consulting industry as you interact with a wide variety of internal and external constituents.
You will leave with a solid understanding and appreciation of how our overall business development, project pipeline, branding, and team engagement and communication programs are developed and the significant role marketing plays.

Passionate for marketing: You have a natural curiosity and enthusiasm for marketing strategy, best practices, and trends.
Tech savvy: Comfortable and adept at learning and utilizing various software programs.
Self-driven: Proactive and motivated, with a strong ability to work independently.
Creative: A knack for thinking outside the box and crafting compelling content that captures our brand while captivating viewers.
THE BASICS
Available to students pursuing a Marketing or Communications degree and have completed Sophomore year by May 2024.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Summer 2024, Full Time, 10-12 Week Program (depending on student’s availability). Start and end dates are flexible.

JOB DUTIES
SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEBSITE MANAGEMENT
Be a part of building our brand and illuminating the Basis Partners’ vibe and high energy by using your creativity in creating compelling content and maintaining our website and social media channels. This involves using your creativity to produce ‘on-brand’ and engaging social media posts, collecting and analyzing web analytics, and making recommendations for improvement.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT NEWSLETTER
At Basis, we value a high level of team communication. As such, we are adding a team newsletter to our repertoire of communication channels. You will have responsibility as the project lead in creating our first employee newsletter. You will become accustomed to and more savvy using Adobe InDesign to design and create our newsletter. You will gain very important consulting skills by working with the executive team and other senior leaders to facilitate a stakeholder needs analysis and put that into action while using your creativity to make it a #1 hit with our team who can’t wait for the next quarter’s release!
MAINTAINING OUR CRM, PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS, and BUSINESS COLLATERAL (e.g. Presentations, Brochures, Service Slides, etc.)
While maintaining our CRM, Project Descriptions, and other Business Collateral, you will learn the work that Basis offers and the value we provide. You will also become more skilled at determining what information is relevant for input into these important documents. Your work will directly impact our Practice Leads and Project Managers, providing them easy access to the information they need to win proposals and maintain effective client relationships.

Visit various job sites to take photos (that includes learning how to fly a drone!).
Participate in the proposal process.

Benefits
Compensation range: $19.00-$22.00 (FLSA Non-Exempt). This is an estimated pay range. Final pay rate will be determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, job related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
