Salad and Go is seeking a Commercialization Project Manager to lead a portfolio of complex projects related to the commercialization of both product improvements and new menu innovation. This individual will work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure successful project completion in accordance with the defined Stage Gate Process while adhering to timeline, scope and budget. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Product Development and Commercialization.

As the Commercialization Project Manager, you will:

  • Define, plan and coordinate work teams, including coordinating the activities of a cross- functional team by leading through influence to ensure project timelines are met from project conception through startup and commissioning. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Leads collaborative project review meetings to highlight significant updates, assessing roadblocks and risk mitigation plans while providing project status to key stakeholders.
  • Manages timelines and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracks and communicates critical project achievements and/or risks.
  • Schedules and facilitates necessary meetings to coordinate and manage projects, and other related business requirements. Acts as a primary point of contact for projects, facilitating project update meetings and written updates, reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Manages projects through to completion ensuring project is on-time and on-budget.
  • Drives process improvement and adherence to company project standards for assigned tasks.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Project Management (Non-IT) experience at a CPG or other product development-related company; food amp; beverage industry experience preferred.
  • PMP, APICS or PMI certification preferred. Experience working within Stage Gate processes preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy a self-starter with a bias for action.
  • Ability to manage dynamic and competing priorities / projects, with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; strong business judgement.
  • Prior experience at a high growth start-up.
  • Results oriented in a fast-paced environment.
