Job Description

The BeMatrix Systems Lead, In-House and On-site, will pull, package, and inventory the modular system. Additionally, this position will aid in overseeing the installation of different modular systems based on designed drawings and layouts approved by customers and exhibitors.

Essential Job Duties

  • Facilitate preparation for event installation by pulling and packing the BeMatrix system and completing necessary maintenance
  • Supervise union personnel and labor force crews at show sites, ensuring the consistent and efficient completion of tasks
  • Oversee in-house inventory and overall maintenance of BeMatrix
  • Oversee installation and dismantling of systems projects on-site
  • Aid in administering planning and pre-event meetings
  • Collaborate with Systems Supervisors and Team Leaders on events to ensure understanding and awareness of on-site tasks
  • Properly communicate project information from the In-House Systems Supervisor to all appropriate parties
  • Review, follow, and meet deadlines on Account Executive’s event management orders and systems-related management orders; routinely discuss progress with the Systems Supervisor or Team Leader
  • Assist in the creation of labor calls for events and projects
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader to ensure that job boxes, ladders, and proper on-site systems equipment are loaded from the warehouse
  • Oversee unloading and staging of equipment to ensure all projects are accounted for and correctly labeled
  • Lead the installation of all projects on events
  • Dismantle all projects and pack systems products efficiently for return to the warehouse
  • Perform skilled and unskilled labor in the warehouse as needed
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules
  • Adhere to all Shepard policies, procedures, safety standards, and departmental SOPs
  • Treat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect, as outlined in our Blue Diamond Customer Service program
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Demonstrate Core Values of Caring, Commitment, Integrity, Spirit, Responsiveness, Inclusivity, and Teamwork
  • Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner by making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company
  • At least 2 years of experience in warehouse or shop operations
  • Knowledge and experience working with the BeMatrix Systems product line, a plus
  • Experience operating power equipment and tools, including forklifts
  • Good oral and written communication skills; good math skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
