Job DescriptionAs an Associate Medical Strategist, you will support medical strategy initiatives for Klick’s clients while building on your understanding for multiple products and disease states. You will critically review content developed by others in the agency, including copywriters and medical writers, while focusing on how to uncover the most compelling ways to differentiate a brand or franchise with a medically viable and compelling perspective. As an Associate Medical Strategist, you will also support business development by assisting with research and development efforts and drafting medical content for pitches.
In this role you will:
  • Provide content expertise for specific agency-held brands
  • Lead medically-related client interactions
  • Serve as a key strategic resource for clients
  • Translate complex science into simple and actionable communications
  • Analyze and interpret clinical and scientific data
  • Keep abreast of assigned therapeutic landscapes and provide relevant POVs for internal and client teams including in depth competitive analyses
  • Support growth for existing agency accounts with medical offerings
  • Participate in RFP preparation as needed
  • Effectively represent scientific work to clients
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position or 4+ years working in the pharmaceutical or life sciences consulting industry
  • PhD, MD, or PharmD
  • Experience working in an agency setting is ideal
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and adept at the art of persuasion
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Understanding of marketing principles
