Bevi is actively looking for a Sr. Integration and Test Engineer - Hardware to join our engineering team. As a Sr. Integration and Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building out our test group and defining our testing philosophies. Your responsibilities will include group hiring / managing, reviewing / creating test plans and defining test infrastructure. Collaborating closely with the Hardware Engineering teams, you will identify and set priorities for validation testing, as well as lifetime testing. As the Senior Integration and Test Engineer - Hardware at Bevi, you will:

  • Identify, own, and prioritize daily testing activities.
  • Create and review test plans for sustaining efforts as well as new product development.
  • Test products that integrate hardware, software, and firmware into a seamless product that meets all customer expectations.
  • Review, summarize and publish test results for team consumption.
  • Validate hardware designs across all requirements including lifetime and reliability testing.
  • Design and develop test stands to validate quality in new and sustaining products.
  • Assist with running and reporting on all tests being performed.
  • Work cross functionally with the manufacturing / quality group to understand how to improve test coverage.

Requirements

  • 5+ years full time experience in integration testing of consumer products with hardware, software, and firmware components.
  • 2+ years managing and/or mentoring others within a test organization.
  • Experience writing and owning hardware test plans.
  • Experience in software coding and scripting to support integration testing.
  • Experience with electrical debugging to support test stand bring up.
  • Experience in creating automation hardware/software to collect data from testing.
  • Strong statistical data analysis skills with analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, Minitab, or similar.
  • Proficiency and ability to use mechanical power/hand tools (drill press, saw, press, etc) and electrical instrumentation (meters, power supplies, probes, etc) is required
  • Strong documentation, presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics

Additional skills:

  • Experience with consumer products, UL, NSF, interpreting regulations
  • Experience with data collection tools such as DataQ, Labview, or similar
  • HALT HASS planning or test execution
  • Experience building electrical cable assemblies
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with fluid and/or hydraulic systems is a plus
  • Experience with CAD (Solidworks preferred) is a plus
  • Experience working with 3D printers is a plus
