Hire Resolve's client, a reputable accounting firm in Knoxville TN, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Tax Accountant to join their team. The firm provides a wide range of tax and accounting services to individuals and businesses, and they are committed to delivering exceptional client service.
In this role, the Staff Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and assisting with tax planning and consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and a desire to continuously learn and grow in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws
- Assist with tax planning and consulting for clients
- Prepare financial statements and other tax-related documents
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address questions or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and client service skills
