Spectrum is seeking highly qualified VTC Support Specialist to support our proposal for a new program located in Norfolk, VA.
Specialized Experience: Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in managing video teleconferencing (VTC) and related A/V and mobile telecommunication equipment and software. Experience in basic IT troubleshooting and resolving customer issues. Effective communication skills (written and oral) with Government civilian, Military personnel, and other Contractors. Proficiency in Windows 10, Office 2016, Internet Explorer, Adobe products, other Microsoft applications, Apple iOS, and SharePoint 2013. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must meet necessary operational requirements and certification standards in accordance with DoD guidelines.
Requirements
- Support installation and management of network A/V and telecommunications equipment
- Install network copper/fiber cable and coordinate power installation
- Order and manage necessary materials
- Perform site surveys and design new systems
- Facilitate and support VTC, audio conferencing, and other A/V equipment
- Certify Command VTC systems
- Activate, deactivate, and provision mobile telecommunication devices
- Conduct audits and prepare activity reports for command mobile telecommunications devices
- Support basic accounting and financial operations for mobile telecommunication devices
- Serve as liaison for third-party vendors providing mobile telecommunication device services
- Provide technical support for software, hardware, network, and security issues
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems and peripherals
- Provide training to customers
- Support and maintain IT system performance and security
- Assess and escalate IT issues to the NMCI
- Coordinate and resolve technical issues with NMCI
