WOW BAO is hiring a SENIOR SALES ANALYST for our team in Chicago!

Position Summary: The Senior Sales Analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing sales data, working with sales brokers, managing trade spend, and providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide our promotional and sales activities. This role will report to the VP of Strategic Growth and work closely with the CFO.

Wow Bao’s CPG vertical has experienced 900%+ growth over the past 12 months. We are looking to bring in someone who has the desire to be a part of one of the fastest frozen CPG brands in the country. We are looking for a person who has a desire to grow within the role and be an integral part of the CPG sales team.

This role is based in Chicago, IL and onsite five days a week, except when traveling on company business.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(Other duties may be assigned as needed):

  • Source, monitor, and analyze syndicated POS data - identifying market trends, competitors and/or opportunities (SPINS).
  • Responsible for managing trade spend and building out retailer specific trade plans.
  • Assist in managing broker relationships.
  • Maintain item setup tools and reporting platforms.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data.
  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to the team.
  • Accurately project sales trends.
  • Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating sales performance.
  • Overseeing CRM software and utilizing CRM reports.
  • Forecasting demand, revenue, and expenses.
  • Determining sales potential and making recommendations.
  • Assist with food shows / trade show planning and exhibiting.
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by management.
  • Perform calmly and effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Other tasks and projects assigned on an as needed basis.
  • Travel is required for this role up to 20%.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 2-4 years as a sales analyst or category management experience in the food/beverage consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Experience in frozen CPG sales is preferred.
  • Proficient in analytical and problem-solving capability with experience using data; Nielsen, IRI, Syndicate/panel data familiarity a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience managing trade spend budget or similar budget management experience.
  • Advanced
