SC First Steps 4K Lead amp; Assistant Teachers | Columbia amp; Irmo
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a SC First Steps 4K Lead amp; Assistant Teachers for our schools in Columbia and Irmo.
No nights! No weekends! And make a difference every single day.
Pay rate: $17-$19 per hour, based on education, experience, and credentials.
Positions Available at:
- Columbia, 3011 Broad River Road
- Columbia, 1801 Clemson Road
- Irmo, 915 Kennerly Road
Current Teacher Openings:
- SC First Steps Lead Teachers
- SC First Steps Assistant Teachers
Responsibilities:
- Implement the SC state First Steps 4K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten.
- Welcome our families. Engage them in conversation about their child's education, and the features and benefits of our programs.
- Have fun in everything you do!
Requirements
- Lead Teachers: At least an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Assistant Teachers: High school diploma or GED required with coursework in Early Childhood Development (ECD) 101.
- At least 6 months of experience at a licensed childcare center required.
