As the Head of Influencer Marketing amp; Brand Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive external communications and influencer marketing strategy to enhance our brand image, engage our target audience, and drive business growth. You will lead a team and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to ensure alignment with our overall marketing and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

External Communications:

  • Develop and implement an integrated external communications strategy to increase brand awareness, enhance brand reputation, and drive engagement across various channels (e.g., traditional media, social media, influencers).
  • Craft compelling messaging and stories that effectively communicate our brand values, key messages, and product/service offerings to the target audience through our influencers and community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure press coverage and media partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for proactive media engagement and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Manage external vendors and parties such as the PR agency and support on major events, campaigns

Community Management:

  • Develop and implement a community management strategy to foster an engaged and loyal community of customers, advocates, and influencers.
  • Engage with our community across various platforms (e.g., social media, forums, blogs) to build relationships, address inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities for community-driven initiatives and collaborations to drive brand loyalty and advocacy.

Public Relations (PR):

  • Oversee all PR activities, including drafting press releases, managing media inquiries, and coordinating interviews.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, and industry influencers to secure positive media coverage and proactively manage any negative publicity.
  • Monitor and manage the company's reputation, responding effectively to any PR crises or issues that may arise.

Crisis Management:

  • Develop and implement a crisis management plan to effectively handle and mitigate potential crises or issues that could impact the brand's reputation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for crisis communications, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and execute crisis response strategies.
  • Monitor media and social media channels for potential issues and respond in a timely manner to protect the brand's reputation.

Influencer Marketing:

  • Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns that align with our brand values, target audience, and business objectives.
  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, negotiating contracts and managing partnerships to maximize the impact of influencer collaborations.
  • Track and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Oversee and manage relationships with scientific advisory board members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration for research and product development initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with VIPs, celebrities, and high-profile individuals to enhance brand reputation and secure strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, PR, and sales, to align influencer activities with broader brand communication strategies.
