Job Description

We are currently seeking a Travel Technology Support Specialist to join our team at WorldVia. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal and external users of our travel technology systems.

As a Travel Technology Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for users who are experiencing issues with our systems. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical problems, documenting and tracking issues, and escalating complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary.

The ideal candidate for this position is highly knowledgeable in travel technology systems and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. You have a deep understanding of GDS systems such as Travelport, Worldspan, and Sabre, and you are familiar with mid-office automation and quality control systems as well as various booking platforms.

Your outstanding communication skills will be crucial in assisting users with their inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate with other team members and vendors to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of travel technology systems, including GDS systems (Travelport, Worldspan, Sabre)
  • Experience with mid-office automation and quality control systems
  • Familiarity with various booking platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus
