INTERNSHIP SUMMARY
SoLa Impact is in search of a highly dedicated HR amp; Recruiting Intern to join the high-achieving team at SoLa. In this internship role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day tasks of SoLa Impact's Human Resources and Recruiting Department, gaining valuable insights into the fundamental aspects of HR practices and talent acquisition.
- Duration: Monday, May 20th - Friday, August 23rd, 2024
- Location: The Beehive 961 E. 61st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90001
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour
- Schedule: 9:30am-3:30pm
- Flexible hours available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Collaborate with the HR and Recruiting team in the implementation of talent acquisition strategies
- Assist in conducting research on best HR practices, recruitment trends, and employment regulations
- Support the preparation of reports and documentation related to HR and recruiting activities
- Maintain and update key performance indicators for HR and recruiting metrics
- Attend meetings and participate in discussions about HR policies, recruitment strategies, and workforce planning
- Assist with resume screening, candidate interviews, and the onboarding process
- Aid in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Collaborate with the team to organize and coordinate HR-related events and programs
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in a Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related degree program
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS platforms is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to tasks
- Knowledge of HR policies, recruitment processes, and employment regulations is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and databases
