Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RN for our Neurology unit. This is a full-time 12-hour night shift position with a competitive hourly compensation range of $36.73 to $71.57, based on qualifications, professional experience, work location, and/or terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. We also offer generous relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with professional practice and unit standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a holistic approach to patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program preferred
- Specialty certification preferred.
- Participate in 8 hours or more annually of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or other education related to or focused on cerebrovascular disease.
- Participate in 3 or more training sessions annually sponsored by the Comprehensive Stroke Center.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- One year of experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs.
- One year experience in an acute care facility OR successful completion of an approved training course/orientation and standard competencies within six months of hire required.
- One year of acute care experience preferred.
- Previous neurology experience preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state in which the nurse will be practicing.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at hire date.
- ACLS certification may be required.

- NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire and recertification every 2 years.
