Job Description
As a member of Vatica’s Product Management team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and meaningfully advance product capabilities and related processes to solve challenging problems and meet strategic objectives.
This role will support a broad range of product capabilities including data integration and system interoperability with a variety of client systems (e.g., EMRs) as well as other shared services utilized across Vatica’s platform. As a Product Manager you will develop deep relationships with business stakeholders, end-users, and software development teams to translate high-value and innovative product ideas into practical reality. In this capacity you will have the opportunity to use your creativity, experience, and professional skillset to directly contribute to the success of our clients and our transformative business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Be the key interface for product between Vatica business and payer and provider stakeholders to facilitate understanding of client needs for EMR.
- Participating in daily scrum team stand-ups and related activities, including story writing, project management, release coordination, retrospective analysis, and business engagement.
- Collaborating with other scrum teams and colleagues to design and execute cross-functional projects.
- Building relationships across business units (e.g., Clinical Operations, Sales, Technology) to gather and investigate product ideas, participate in strategic prioritization, refine requirements, and translate that information into actionable user stories for development.
- Performing product and user experience research as directed, such as competitive systems analysis, internal and external user surveys, usability studies, and journey mapping.
- Participating in 3rd party relationship management activities as directed, for example: evaluating external vendor partners, managing EMR application development programs, engaging with payors and other relevant industry groups.
- Developing and maintaining product collateral for internal and external use including testing scripts, FAQs, sales and marketing content, and Go-To-Market (GTM) materials.
- Supporting training activities for Clinical Operations and other internal staff as needed, with relevant new product materials, presentations, and Qamp;A availability.
- Participating as a subject matter expert in client implementation and operationalization of new products, related processes, and playbooks.
- Supporting sales, marketing, and other business development activities including internal and client facing presentations, detailed project planning, and strategic problem solving.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Healthcare Industry integration experience
- 5+ years of practical experience in providing client support on large and complex healthcare projects to business objectives.
- 5+ years of experience with the full life cycle of product development
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Understands and can explain both product and high to medium level technical aspects of EMR to clients and prospective clients.
- Should understand the differences in the roles that product, sales, and integration play.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to distill complexity into easily understood components (non-technical).

The salary for a position is typically determined by multiple factors such as the individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and location. The projected compensation range for the position may vary based on these factors and could range from $110,000 to $120,000 (annualized USD). However, this estimate represents just one aspect of our total compensation package offered.
