Steri-Tek is a company which is dedicated to providing high-quality sterilization services and superior customer service to industries which impact our families and the world. We are looking to grow our Swing Shift (4:30PM 12:30AM; Monday - Friday) team in our Lewisville, TX facility.

Here’s what our you will bring to the team:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a production or warehouse environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively read, write and verbally communicate in English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Forklift experience is preferred but we will train
  • Team player mentality - willing to work with others across the business
  • Ability to work independently under general guidelines and supervision
  • Willingness to undergo training in all processing operations
  • Ability to report accidents and errors to the leadership team
  • Ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities

Requirements

As an Operator I, you will work as part of a team whose primary purpose is operating and monitoring the e-beam and X-ray machines and/or Spectrophotometer to ensure customer products are accurately processed and sterilized.

OPERATE HMI FOR LINEAR ACCELERATOR

  • Able to accurately navigate, select and verify the PPS Code in the PTMS.
  • Able to run the HMI.
  • Able to pull the correct job to process the order.
  • Prepare all aspects of the customer requirements for the linear accelerator system to process customer products to the required sterility assurance level (including but not limited to loading totes, dosimeters, ensure totes are stable).
  • Able to turn machine on/off.
  • Understand all safety systems at start-up and shutdown.
  • Review all dosimetry work and documentation.

SPECTROPHOTOMETER USE

  • Use a spectrophotometer on a regular basis. Maintain daily calibration records.
  • Understand when to escalate to level 2.
  • Review all HMI work and documentation.

PREPARE PROCESS REPORTS AND RELATED JOB RECORDS

  • Complete all required reports and documentation accurately and completely, including non-conformances.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Once all primary tasks are complete, assist other employees and departments as needed.
  • Complete compliance training/continuing education requirements by the noted deadlines.
  • Complete and ensure proper execution of appropriate Steri-Tek Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
