We are looking for a Radiation Services Technician (Dose Map) to the day shift, working Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM in our Fremont, CA facility.

The Radiation Services Technician (Dose Map) will assist customers in completing their dose map projects, which determine the necessary sterilization dose for the customers' product(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Processing:

  • Trained to certification associated with Pre-Processing amp; Receiving Radiation Services
  • Ensure incoming projects are received, prepared, processed and documented per specifications

Dose Study Projects:

  • -Dose Map Study
  • -Dose Map Verifications
  • -Dose Distribution Studies
  • -Single Layer Dose Maps
  • -Radiation Tolerance Series Studies

Perform Dose Studies:

  • Set up and write dose study protocols
  • Perform the dose study
  • Measure Dosimeters
  • Write dose study report

Customer Service:

  • Communicate to customers about their Dose Studies under the guidance of a level 3 or a Manager

Calibrations:

  • Perform and be certified to basic calibrations. This can include Spectrophotometers, Incubators, Scales, and Measuring Tapes
  • Research and Development orders with Internal Dosimeters
  • Under the guidance of a level 3 or a manager, load/unload/measure dosimeters
  • Technical Knowledge - have read and can reference ISO 11137-1 and has a basic knowledge of ISO 11137-2

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist other employees and departments, as needed
  • Complete compliance training/continuing education requirements by the noted deadlines
  • Complete and ensure proper execution of appropriate Steri-Tek Standard Operating Procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
  • Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Human Tissue and/or Biomedical industry experience 0-3 years
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Excellent customer communication

Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30PM

Hourly pay rate: $26.00 - $32.00

The compensation range outlined is based on a talent budgeted base salary. Individual base salary depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skills, interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Steri-Tek offers additional compensation in the form of benefit premiums, 401k matching, and On-Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year.
