Job Description

Our partner is seeking a Senior Data Management amp; Analytics Manager for a remote position based in Arlington, VA. This role involves leading enterprise data management and analytics solutions for Federal Government programs, focusing on homeland security priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical expertise in various data applications, tools, and services.
  • Evaluating and recommending data management tools, services, and products.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of data analytics solutions.
  • Developing large-scale data processing pipelines.
  • Creating data assets from unstructured data.
  • Driving software engineering best practices.
  • Promoting enterprise data strategy, governance, and stewardship.
  • Mentoring teammates and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Staying updated on emerging trends in data analytics, GIS, and AI.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, GIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, with a track record of success in leading complex projects.
  • Expertise in data analytics methodologies, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, management, and governance principles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (MS Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in process automation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Consulting experience and familiarity with U.S. Federal Government data solution programs preferred.
  • Active or ability to obtain/maintain suitability/public trust with the U.S. Federal Government.

This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
