What you’ll do:
· Own User Experience, User Interface and Look and Feel of all Aravo products
· Build and direct a team of designers for enterprise and mid-market offerings
· Develop and execute a strategy for a developing, managing and enforcing a design system, along with design conventions, standards, and patterns
· Deeply understand and appreciate the path each user persona takes through the Aravo system to achieve their business goals
· Work with stakeholders to define user personas and own the user experience for those personas, ensuring that those experiences are efficient, valuable, and enjoyable
· Own UI/UX roadmap for input into wider Platform/Product roadmaps
· Work with Platform and Application Product Managers to define priorities on UI transformation
· Provide a roadmap and strategy for instrumentation of the system for determination of utilization metrics
· Be a vocal advocate for design influence and priorities on behalf of our customers
· Understand the importance of using data and metrics in product design
· Responsibility for maximizing design's impact by collaborating with teams across the company, especially Product and Engineering
· Stay current and keep a pulse on what is happening in the design world
· Own Aravo’s WCAG Accessibility roadmap and strategy, working with Product Managers, Engineering and QA to execute
Requirements
What you’ll need:
· 8+ years of design experience for a web-based SaaS product
· 3+ years of experience leading a team of designers of various levels
· Experience in UX design with extremely diverse user populations (filling out a form vs. watching a work queue for review/approval vs. building and running reports/analytics vs. overall program management)
· Experience with B2B SaaS products, preferably with highly configurable solutions such as low-code/no-code solutions
· Experience with Reporting and Analytics
· Experience in building, growing, and mentoring design and user research teams
· Expertise in conducting various user research methodologies and the ability to translate research insights into actionable design improvements
· Deep experience with A/B testing and analytics
· Experience with path analysis and mapping to user personas and use cases
· Be a leader and a doer with a strong voice, comfortable leading a team, but also being a hands-on contributor to designs
· Thoughts on how AI tools can be used to enhance UX and UI
· Experience with WCAG (nice to have)
