Our client, a data-centric SaaS platform, is looking to hire a talented Data Engineer. As a member of the core product engineering team, your role will involve delivering valuable insights to drive informed decisions across the organization. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies in data processing, you will extract meaningful insights from vast datasets. Your focus will be on constructing essential data warehouse structures alongside skilled engineers, aligning with our goal of empowering data-centric products and insights.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable data infrastructure for handling diverse data from multiple sources and customers.
• Construct essential infrastructure for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.
• Design robust data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze business metrics.
• Generate pivotal datasets supporting machine learning, growth analysis, and strategic forecasting.
• Implement versatile infrastructure to accommodate diverse data types and sources.
• Drive strategic initiatives by delivering essential datasets for various business needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data or Software Engineering.
• BA/BS in quantitative or computer science fields.
• Fluent in SQL and Python.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools, such as Terraform.
• Ability to automate and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Quick learner, excels in challenging, new environments.
