Spreetail is seeking a Director of FC Operations to lead our Dallas fulfillment center. This role will be responsible for ensuring our fulfillment center is running efficiently and meeting our on-time delivery metrics. As the Director of Fulfillment Operations you will:- Be accountable for the entire Fulfillment Center, including all key performance indicators (KPIs) are within tolerance of their intended outcomes, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Fully understand, drive, and ensure compliance with all Spreetail fulfillment standard operating procedures.
- Provides recommendations on future equipment and optimization of technology.
- Develops and effectively leads multiple salaried leaders, including Senior Operations Managers, Operations Managers, and Area Managers.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement programs throughout the fulfillment center.
- Ensure proper labor planning is completed to manage domestic and international inbound freight and daily on-time shipping expectations.
- Manages total building Pamp;L.
- Partner with key stakeholders across multiple parts of the organization to improve our company’s competitive advantage (Peopleamp;Culture, IT, Software, Vendor Management, Transportation, Marketplaces).
- Be capable of setting a long-term vision, continuously prioritize, and move toward the intended outcome.
- Be relentless in your desire to never settle for the status quo.
Who You Are: - 5+ years of experience in fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution environment, preferably e-commerce.
- 5+ years of experience leading a salaried workforce.
- Have led large teams greater than 300 team members, single or multiple sites.
- BS in Engineering, Operations, or analytical business-related field.
- BA in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Management.
