Job Description

The Martin Management Group is a leading automotive retail organization with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and employee success. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee compensation, including entering payroll information, calculating wages, and ensuring timely payments. Your ability to maintain confidentiality, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will be essential in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll data by entering employee information and calculating wages
  • Review and verify payroll information for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
  • Prepare and distribute employee pay statements and reports
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
  • Assist with payroll tax calculations and reporting
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a payroll clerk or similar role
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent math and numerical skills
  • Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or degree in accounting or related field is a plus
