Quality Inspector

Verify that all processing and quality requirements as specified on the customer drawings and production traveler have been met.

Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-inspection documents and other collection documentation (prolog, packing slip, part marking and part labeling).
• Complete inspection documents and other collection documentation.
• Perform all visual and mechanical inspections of incoming, solderability test and production parts using a microscope, optical comparators, ring magnifiers and/or calipers.

Other Duties amp; Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Follow clean room and other environmental precautions and procedures as required.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years Quality Inspector experience in semiconductor/electronics production
• Previous working experience in an ESD setting preferred
• Experience with JESD 625 JEDEC STANDARD Requirements for Handling
• General knowledge of J-STD-001 Soldered Electrical amp; Electronic Assemblies
• General knowledge of AS9100 as well as ISO 9001:2008

• Strong hands-on approach to Quality Inspection
• Ability to translate customer specifications/drawings
• Ability to exercise flexibility with quickly changing data requests
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
