What you’ll be doing

Prepare plans and call off materials from approved suppliers and other client facilities using SAP MRP functionality to meet production-plan needs.

Highlight potential impacts to production schedules caused by material shortages or non-conformance, providing action-based solutions to maintain effective production.

Manage raw materials for a specific SKU portfolio within agreed targets while optimizing customer service, inventory targets, and cost constraints; produce management reports as required.

Arrange returns to vendors for approved non-conforming goods and follow up on documentation so purchasing can track corrective action.

Resolve discrepancies between ordered and delivered quantities and values, and confirm payment approval with accounts payable.

Coordinate processes and maintain accurate documentation required for importing raw materials, meeting process-audit targets.

Attend business review meetings and participate in project team activities as required.

What we’re looking for

3–5 years of experience in planning or purchasing, specifically materials or inventory management

Competent PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience using MRP and other planning systems; SAP preferred

Assertive, tenacious, and results-focused

Ability to remain calm under pressure and think creatively

Customer-focused with the ability to build effective internal and external working relationships

Innovative, flexible, and adaptable

Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Ability to give effective presentations and work as part of a cross-functional team

PAPR/respirator use may be required
