Who we’re looking for
The NA HR Shared Service Operations Lead collaborates closely with various parties (e.g., HR members in Subsidiaries, HR Business Partners, Information technology professionals and Head Office members) to effectively and efficiently deliver day to day operational HR transactions in all areas of HR as well as enable an efficient HR organization through the use and improvement of HR technology. This is a senior role impacting multiple organizations across a wide geography as well as influence decisions made in Head Office with global impact.

Role and Responsibilities

Location: Plano, Texas

What you’ll be doing

Ensure the delivery of key Service Level Agreements, quality targets and Key Performance Indicators.

Integrate different work processes operated by each business unit to contribute to standard HR operation.

Owner or primary point of contact and resolution for all Tier 1 and significant portion of Tier 2 employee inquiries on all HR transactional matters as well as policy and process guidelines.

Ensure timely escalation and customer satisfaction of matter outside scope.

Drive alignment between IT, HR Systems, and HR Shared Services in order to drive optimization of HRSS technologies

Serve as the primary regional owner HR Systems and services providing solution stability and evolution while managing the daily operations.

Influence Head Office for the direction of global HR technology solutions.

Change Agent for new and updated HRIS solutions.

Owner of employee data: Integrity, Security, Flow and Privacy.

Deploy adequate resources to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations at the lowest possible cost

Embody and instill a continuous process improvement mind-set at all levels of the HR Shared Service organization

Oversee the process for documenting process map / flows to allow for continuous innovation, transfer of knowledge and training direct/indirect members

Significant leader impact as the manager of 8 RFTs (2 of them people managers) and 16 contractors for a total 24 team members.

Job Specification

About you

12+ years of experience in HR with at least 5 in and HR operations capacity.

Bachelor’s degree in related field with Masters preferred.

Lean six sigma certification preferred.

Experience in managing a range of HR services to a large, diverse and dispersed population for global organizations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.

Demonstrated track record of leveraging process and project management skills to deliver results.

Significant experience working within the assigned geographic region

Experience in HR system and employee data management

Vendor managing experience

Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the envisioning stage through to implementation

Effective leadership skills that can energize multi-disciplined work teams to respond to business needs

Experience in managing people managers.

Work is performed in an office environment with some travel (10%-20%).
