The HR Business Partner (HRBP), under general supervision, partners with assigned business functions to support organizational human capital strategies and to facilitate achievement of business plans and objectives. Works with HR COEs Talent Management, Strategic Workforce Planning, Strategic Staffing and Recruiting, Employee Engagement, Organizational Development, Compensation Administration (performance calibration) and (Non)Manufacturing Business Clients. The HRBP also serves as a consultant partner in the execution of COE programs as well as identification of opportunities to promote successful business outcomes. Provides feedback to COE departments to identify, evaluate, and improve HR programs. Keeps business clients informed of HR initiatives.
Job Functions:
Ensures functional leaders motivate and implement employee engagement initiatives across their workforce. Provide HR tools and guidance to managers to supervise employees effectively, equitably, and within the law.
Monitors turnover rates and identifies related issues. Assists with developing retention action plans, with a focus on key talent, by working with functional management and appropriate HR COE. Incorporates approved action plans and analyzes results.
Engage with functional groups to align talent to critical and key roles to meet functional and corporate objectives. Supports succession planning reviews for strategic and critical positions to assure talent depth. Assists team with career path development planning with functional groups (rotations, development and training) for key talent.
Facilitates effective communication between HR Centers of Excellence (C.O.E.) and functional groups to provide visibility to upcoming HR initiatives and employee issues.
Counsel Managers on performance management and practices to maintain a positive and productive working environment. Meet with individual managers to mediate specific occurrences and ongoing employee issues. Approves steps and documentation relating to Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) process and maintains close counsel with related managers.
Actively engages and participates in planning with all levels of client groups to develop trust and credibility. Understands function’s strategic plans and initiatives to provide value added recommendations for human capital organization planning to function leadership. Participates in functional structure reorganizations and job redesign. Engages appropriate COE’s in the early stages of change
Manages and balances multiple demands and priorities to achieve optimal results.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience: 1-3 Years of Professional HR / Business Partnering
Experience Job Skills/Knowledge: Strong Experience in all facets of HR. OEM or Automotive Supplier experience preferred. Experience supporting multiple functional groups and/or HR COE’s preferred.
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in HR or business related field. MBA or Master's can substitute experience
Experience: Demonstrated analytical skills, intermediate knowledge of excel and power point
