Position Summary
A person in this position ensures the Financial reporting reflects the transactions of the business according to GAAP. The position manages areas of Finance such as Account Payable, Account Receivables, Treasury, Fixed Assets, and Customs including Foreign Trade Zone data and filing. The position reports directly to the CFO.
Role and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting.
Responsible for month end closing including all reporting to the CFO and within the system.
Responsible for quarterly and year end reporting.
Assist external and internal auditors.
Ensure accurate financial statements.
Account Payable / Accounts Receivable.
Manage and approve the processing of invoices along with the investigation of past due invoices
Oversee and approve weekly payment runs.
Administrate the process of new vendors.
Identify cost reduction opportunities with new vendors.
Treasury / Incentives.
Responsible for approvals of daily cash, manual checks, cash transfers between accounts and cash forecasting.
Oversee the application and filing of governmental incentives for the company.
Fixed Assets
- Oversee the management for the acquisition of assets, asset under construction, investment budget and forecasting.
Oversee the management of assets at other locations.
Customs.
Oversee the reporting of customs filings within a foreign trade zone.
Oversee the management of duty rates and other fees within the system.
Identify areas of opportunity for cost savings.
Other.
ADHOC reporting
Management of risk management systems
Work with other departments to identify opportunities within SEHA for improvement of financial results and process.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor degree
CPA or CMA preferred
Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing environment
Strong Management experience
Good communication skills
Analytical
Preferably experience from SAP (finance and/or Sales module)
Able to identify opportunities for improvement and suitable solutions
