Position Summary
Role Purpose:
The position is responsible for applying the guidelines of company policies, procedures, controls, and objectives with a wide variety of suppliers to obtain products that meet company specifications.
Role and Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing forecast for long term and short term L/T materials
Manage PSI to provide raw materials for production without shortage in a timely manner
Responsible for managing requisitions, P/O (Purchase Orders), shipping, and delivery.
Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
Manage KPI for on-time delivery, and optimum inventory level
Handle RMA process for defective raw materials and check replacement process
with vendors.
Assist purchasing manager in managing the purchasing department’s budget
Perform all other duties as assigned or required.
Accountable for the quality of work.
Accurately and timely recording of information on specified documents.
Proper use and care of equipment and materials staged in workplace.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management; job duties may change at any time with or without notice
Background, Experience& Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Strong excel skills and experience using MRP/ERP system preferred
Knowledge of supply chain processes and vendor management experience preferred
Strong problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and critical-analysis ability in resolving purchasing, inventory, and accounting issues
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to prioritize projects and recognize deficiencies in paperwork.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Extremely organized and detailed oriented with excellent follow-up
Proficient in PC applications to include: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
