Position Summary
1. Establish procurement strategy linked with corporate strategy and lead achieving procurement target through well-managing KPI (Key Performance Index).
2. Lead procurement process improvement and innovation, and direct operating an optimal procurement organization.
Role and Responsibilities
Generate Value Engineering Ideas for electrical parts (hardware and software) and mechanical parts, including using of Multiple Value Engineering Tools
Identify and understand the key features that are Critical Cost Drivers and work to reduce the Cost of the product though value engineering Ideas
Utilizing the change management process, collaborate with cross functional teams to make changes to the bill of material, drawings, and engineering specifications/standards
Through product lifecycle management, implement projects focused on productivity
Support technical training of new team members
Other responsibilities as assigned by management; job duties may change based on needs
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree required in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Understanding of functional principles of electrical parts is preferred
Experience in reading and troubleshooting electrical schematics preferred
Experience with Value Engineering project
Experience with plastics and sheet metal preferred
Experience in 6 Sigma and Lean preferred
Strong competency in verbal and writing communication skill
Excellent proficiency in MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
Strong organizational skills and work efficiency
Must be able to work on and manage projects independently and meet deadlines
