POSITION SUMMARY
The candidate will be responsible for management of systems and hardware across Samsung’s direct to consumer retail channel in the US and internal retail systems. This will include hardware specification and integration strategies, evaluate emerging technologies and how they can benefit our efforts, integrate software systems into the physical retail environment and broader retail organization, content deployment strategies and implementation of technology where it is an integral part of the performance requirement of the environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Management
Delineate and drive system/hardware development, UAT and deployment
Deliver tier 1 & 2 Support for all retail technology systems and hardware
Build topology diagrams of all technical systems
Optimize system monitoring, security and compliance
Responsible for preventative maintenance
Identify potential risks and work to resolve
Create control strategy processes
Create issue escalation path(s) and review risks with appropriate corrective strategy
Responsible to lead onsite technical work and new store openings
Identify new and strengthen partnerships with technology vendors
Responsible for conducting equipment testing
Collaborate with corporate team including but not limited to store marketing for digital content deployment
Technical Understanding

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s level degree with 4-6 years of directly related experience is required or industry certifications
Experience should include telecommunications industry product management, IT industry, wireless telecommunications position requiring management of product development, logistics, distribution, program management, and long-term product planning
Knowledge in wireless networking, routing & switching, mobile technologies markets, multimedia subsystem and broadband technology standards
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience managing external vendors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience developing presentations using a Microsoft suite.
PMP or equivalent Certification preferred
Requires strong influencing skills without authority
Experience with IoT, AR, and AI projects is plus
Ability to travel 50-75% of time
Ability to work cooperatively and build strong relationships with peers and senior leadership locally and globally; sharing ideas and developing effective business processes in support of the company mission.
Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, creating effective business partnerships.
Polished interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills in local market language.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines in a collaborative and matrixed environment.
