RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will be responsible for partnering with channel orders, retail merchandising, supply chain management, and GOC (HQ) to establish and execute device deployment for iconic and non-iconic device launches as well as adhoc project requests. Expectations include managing the forecasting, internal request processes, and partnering with distribution to coordinate shipments. In addition, this position will partner with their Retail Supply Chain peers on the financial, logistical, and operational oversight of our Consolidator.

Collaborate with internal channel partners to forecast device demand for iconic and non-iconic device launches three months prior to in-store date

Job Specification

Communicate with HQ Business partners on prioritization and timing of product arrival

Partner with internal distribution partners to coordinate shipments and escalations

Work with Account teams to ensure funding is secured prior to procuring devices

Collaborate with account teams and supply chain to develop and maintain an end-to-end view for all display products including those managed outside of third party warehouse

Develop yearly business plan reflecting estimated device allocation and third-party vendor usage

Partner with Sales Finance to identify when Retail (NR) MDF can be utilized for iconic device costs across all accounts

Perform data analytics on the inventory flow of materials from production through third-party warehouse vendor

Work with the Financial Strategy team to manage all inventory at the third-party vendor warehouse and perform device inventory tracking for all SEA retail display locations using Warehouse Management System

Manage a team of Inventory and Data Specialists at third-party warehouse vendor and ensure all the deadlines for product delivery are met at all Retail locations within the timeframe

Keep track of the security and device usage using specialized MS Excel and MS Project features for all Samsung Product Launches and Store Resets throughout the year and analyze order forecast based on results

Work with Business Planning to identify costs, plan, and schedule performance of procurement activities in SAP in accordance with business processes of the organization

Analyze the capacity of third-party vendor warehouse for upcoming Samsung Product launches and oversee smooth implementation of product delivery and optimizing distribution

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is required with an MBA preferred

A minimum of 8-10 years of relative experience is required, preferably in Supply Chain or other primary Business functions

Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams

Mobile industry or consumer electronics retail experience strongly preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills able to regularly interact with SVP audience with minimal oversight or support

Self-starter, able to add value without specific direction

Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate key takeaways through impactful story-telling

Objectively able to look at available information and make recommendations

Positive attitude and ability to adjust as changes occur
