Role and Responsibilities

As a senior technical leader, the Production & Systems Team Strategist is responsible for providing an in-depth business and technical expertise on Manufacturing and Semiconductor FAB Automation System Architecture, and leads strategic planning process including on-going evaluation of organizations progress against stated strategic objectives.

This includes leading in the design and execution of effective objects and projects and responsible to development and management of effective system platform, managing a direct-report knowledge engineer or manager.

This role will also be responsible for developing effective reporting and forums to keep stakeholders across the delivery lifecycle updated on priorities, status, issues and actions.

This role also requires a high degree of collaboration with other technical teams such as Manufacturing and System development team.

Leads and supports select technical strategic initiatives.

Leads periodic strategic planning process, facilitates efficient, effective process to align on Production & Systems Technology outcomes in support of business strategy.

Leads across Production and System Technology organization boundaries and to influence outcomes.

Assists in the review and approval of new project plans, including investment budgets, goals and objectives, detailed scope descriptions, detailed schedules, risk management approach, benefits, ROI, milestone descriptions and staffing requirements.

Documents and collects business requirements, workflows, and dependencies from business units as required for project work.

Compiles and constructs project status reports, project budget expenditures tasks lists, and other project information as needed for distributions.

Identifies potential project risks and difficulties and informs management of issues.

Works to design strategies to mitigate or avoid risks.

Constructs project documentation and facilitates approvals to ensure project deliverables are acceptable and fulfill the terms of the project charter.

Act as a coach to project managers, executives and others who need assistance and advice regarding project management practices.

Establish understanding of how the latest technology fits into strategic goals of aligned business units.

Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.

Focus on improving awareness, alignment and buy-in around organization strategy and link to specific business outcomes.

Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan.

Job Specification

Skills and Qualifications

4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering field.

6-year minimum experience with demonstrated success in inventory analysis, production control, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, six sigma, or project management.

Has a wide range of manufacturing experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Effective Communication, Ability to analyze data, identifies issues, and provides solutions to closure.

Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization to create change.

A self-starter, driven, strong relationship builder, passionate about learning and making a difference.

Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Must be able to coordinate and communicate technical information to and from all levels of the organization.

A history of “hands-on” approach to problem solving and countermeasure implementation within own areas of responsibility.

High attention to details and accuracy.

Proactive and self-driven approach to overcome challenges and achieve results.

Knowledge of relevant programming languages: Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL.

Data analysis skills; analyzing & interpreting data.
