Position Summary
Samsung is currently seeking an Affiliate Marketing Associate Manager to join our Demand Generation team in Samsung’s eCommerce business. This position will be a critical part of the growth of Affiliate, EPP (Employee Purchase Program aggregators) and performance marketing supporting Samsung.com, in partnership with the Affiliate & EPP Lead. The Associate Manager will proactively nurture our third-party Affiliate, content & EPP relationships, leveraging data to drive actionable decisions that inform and grow all Samsung.com lines of business.
Role and Responsibilities
Own full media planning, negotiations, and execution across external partners, including marketing emails, website placements, dedicated editorial content, deal links, commission changes and more
Collaborate with other internal marketing teams to drive cross-functional marketing objectives and campaigns, like influencers, editorial relationships and more
Partner with Category Managers to prioritize promotions, offers & business needs to inform marketing planning across product categories
Perform ROAS and partner-level revenue and cost analysis to inform partner strategy and optimizations
Forecast spend & budgeting by category by vendor and publisher; proactively flag budget needs
Own and monitor daily KPI reporting to measure performance; identify opportunities to improve KPI performance; tracking QA and troubleshooting
Work with creative team to inform copy, imagery, creative direction and ad deliverables
Owns, maintains and communicates channel calendar for cross-functional use
Partner with Big Data team to drive data reporting, custom analysis and automated dashboards to drive quick decision-making
Partner with Product/Engineering to enhance Affiliate and EPP tracking, data passback and landing page optimizations to improve strategy and performance
Partners with affiliate network party to stay informed of industry trends and best practices
Skills and Qualifications
4+ years' experience in online performance marketing, specifically affiliate marketing, e-commerce or other direct-response media
Experience with media planning a must, and external platforms such as Commission Junction, Google Affiliate Network, Share-A-Sale or Linkshare a plus
Understanding of operations, including pixels, ad tracking, and feeds
Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in using web and data analytic tools (Google Analytics, Tableau), excel pivot tables and basic functions for maintaining and creating reports
Experience managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets and working with multiple publishers
Position requires a highly detail-oriented and proactive individual driven by results which can manage multiple projects, tasks, and people in a fast-paced environment
Excellent project management and organizational/time management skills with specific attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in writing; Must be an active team player within a cross-functional team
BA/BS in marketing, business or other quantitative field.
