Position: Associate Product ManagerReports to: Senior Product ManagerLocation: Onsite/Culver City (remote through pandemic)
EssentialRitual is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our growing Product Management team. Working collaboratively with other product managers, engineering, design, and marketing, you will assist in taking features from ideation to launch, analyzing performance, and helping the company achieve its goals.
This is an entry level product role, ideal for someone with some experience in engineering, project management, marketing, or data analysis, looking to make a transition into Product Management. We believe that Product Management is best learned on the job, and there will be significant mentorship, meaningful responsibilities, and abundant opportunities to learn and grow into running your own product squad.What You’ll Do:

This is an entry level product role, ideal for someone with some experience in engineering, project management, marketing, or data analysis, looking to make a transition into Product Management. We believe that Product Management is best learned on the job, and there will be significant mentorship, meaningful responsibilities, and abundant opportunities to learn and grow into running your own product squad.What You’ll Do:
- Learn to understand the business, our customers, and how to break down broad objectives into concrete and measurable projects and actions to help us achieve our goals.
- You’ll analyze site performance and develop a perspective on what is and isn’t working using tools like Looker, Indicative, Google Sheets, and SQL.
- You’ll help develop product features from ideation to release (support writing briefs, do competitive research, data analysis, and help the team hit project milestones etc.)
- You’ll lead the scrum process for one of our digital product squads, running sprint planning, retrospectives, and helping manage the backlog.
- Work with other Product Managers to influence the roadmap, and measure performance on what we’ve built.
- Display strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills.
- All about the details - You are incredibly detail oriented, like checklists, and managing projects to a tight timeline.

- Education: A bachelor's degree in STEM, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:2-4 years of experience, in engineering, data analysis, finance, marketing or other analytically focused fieldQuantitative orientation - with experience using data analysis tools (Excel / Google Sheets, Looker, SQL, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong product sense
- Persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product and team are successful
