Job Description

Position: Chief of StaffReports to: CEOLocation: Onsite/ Culver City (remote through pandemic)
EssentialAs the Chief of Staff, you’ll work directly for the CEO and closely with our leadership team to help grow, scale and run the day to day operations more effectively at Ritual. In this role, you will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on Ritual’s productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing communication objectives and project managing key projects, driving both the strategic vision and project execution. This role requires a highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence. you will be entrusted with an incredible amount of responsibility on company-critical initiatives. You will be the right hand of the CEO to execute on all major company priorities.
This role will work collaboratively and in close partnership with other key stakeholders of the leadership team, including Head of Brand, Creative, Ramp;D, People, Finance, Operations, Growth, Acquisition and Customer Lifecycle.What You’ll Do:
  • Act as an extension of the CEO on strategic projects.
  • Manage projects for the CEO, ensuring deadlines are hit and appropriate steps taken. Help keep the CEO on track, regularly report status, and help lighten her workload.
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership.
  • Identify and own key projects to drive operational maturity at Ritual in partnership with the CEO.
  • Join business-related calls, take thorough notes and participate in next steps and action items.
  • Serve as the organizational glue connecting, onboarding, and supporting the growth of leadership and integration efforts.
  • Prepare and execute all executive materials and presentations, including support for Special Projects and external marketing and events.
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making and initiative implementation.
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive the OKR process and help ensure it is current for the organization.
  • Define new operational strategies, working with the CEO and executives on special projects.
  • Develop agendas and materials for executive meetings; track next steps and follow-ups to completion.
  • Create high quality presentations for CEO, Board of Directors and other departments.
  • Drive strategic initiatives on behalf of our CEO and the leadership team.
  • Be a thought partner to leadership on the organization’s vision, priorities, challenges, and team culture.
  • Attend meetings on behalf of the CEO and act as a representative when required.
  • Be deeply involved running both internal and external communications.
  • Manage internal change-management.
  • Conduct market research and analysis.
  • Handle all contract negotiations and signing.
  • Help with calendar management, scheduling and logistics for CEO and COO.
